How does the Layby Work?
1. Pick your garden shed
2. Pick your package (Pick Up, Delivery, Installation)
3. Pick Your Accessories
Once the above has been completed a 20% deposit of the total order is payable to proceed. The outstanding amount can then be paid off over 12 weeks. With a minimum amount payable fortnightly. Fortnightly payments will be calculated based on the total amount spent.
Once the invoice is paid in full, the shed will be ordered and the package will be arranged. (Pick Up, Delivery, Installation)
You can lay-by purchases of $500 or more at Brisbane Garden Sheds and spread the payment over a 3 month period.
To establish a lay-by, you must pay a 20% deposit (of the total order) and a $5 non-refundable service fee. Lay-bys are available for up to 12 weeks and regular fortnightly payments must be made. (Fortnightly payments are based on the total amount spent)
Where can I make payments?
Payments can be made the following way;
- In store at our display centre at Archerfield (Eftpos Facilities Available, Cash Payments)
- Over the phone via credit card.
- Via direct bank transfer.
What products cannot be purchased on lay-by?
Lay-by is not available on clearance and discontinued products.
Collecting your purchases
You can collect your purchases as soon as you have paid in full for the lay-by. Photo identification is required when collecting your purchases. Or alternatively if you have picked a delivery or install package we will then arrange this upon completion of the final payment.
Cancellation by you
Lay-bys may be cancelled by you at any time during the term, in which case you will be entitled to a refund of the amount you have paid, less a restocking fee of 10% of the total invoice. (which is in addition to the $5 non-refundable service fee). You will need to have photo identification with you to cancel a lay-by. Refunds for lay-by payments will be made using the original payment method only.
Cancellation for non-payment or non-collection
It is your responsibility to make the regular lay-by repayments and, failure to make payments when they are due will be treated as cancellation of the lay-by. Brisbane Garden Sheds is not required to contact you before cancelling a lay-by for non-payment or non-collection. If your lay-by is cancelled, you will be entitled to a refund of the amount you have paid, less a restocking fee of 10% of the total invoice. (which is in addition to the $5 non-refundable service fee).
Lay-by is not available for online purchases. Lay-by contents cannot be modified. You may change your contact details or request a replacement lay-by receipt, provided you present photo identification. Lay-by terms may be varied for specific events or promotions.
Your personal information will be used to administer the lay-by, including for Brisbane Garden Sheds or third parties to send reminders via letter, SMS or email. If you opt in to receive marketing material, you agree to Brisbane Garden Sheds collecting your personal information for marketing its products and services to you and to analyse purchasing activity. Brisbane Garden Sheds may provide personal information to service providers (some of whom may be located outside Australia) for these purposes.
