This page is designed to help you make the
right choices in choosing a garden shed
Treco offers one of the most pleasing
metal shed designs
Treco offers a
range of designs and colours to suit any
back yard with sizes from the compact 6’x 3’
for storage of your garden tools to the
giant 10’x 19’ ideal for the home
handyman’s workshop.
Treco offers an easy to assemble design
which enables damaged parts to be replaced.
Some sheds today are offered as clip
together design claimed to be quick and easy
assembly. However the disadvantages outweigh
the benefits. In one design the clips tend
to be flimsy and easily damaged making the
erection of this brand difficult. In another
design the bottom rail collects water and
rubbish adding to corrosion dangers.
Treco sheds offer a
screw together design, which is easy to
erect by the average Handyman with panels
that, if inadvertently damaged can be
removed and replaced without dismantling the
whole shed. The panels fit on the outside of
the bottom frame allowing rainwater and
rubbish to wash away.
Treco offers one of the strongest sliding
door tracks
Avoid door tracks that are “add on” usually
mounted on the outside of the shed they tend
to sag after minimal use. Doors mounted
externally on these tracks are easily forced
to gain entry.
Sliding doors mounted internally are usually
mounted to tracks that are integral to the
shed frame this offers a more surcure
fitting as they maintain their strength and
wont sag even after many years of use.
Treco sliding doors
are mounted on a track, which is part of the
structural frame when closed they Interlock
with the door, jams for added security.
Treco offers one of the strongest bottom
door guides and exit/entry ramps
Avoid bottom door tracks that are on the
outside of the shed they are less sucure
than internal tracks and tend to collect
rubbish, which causes doors to jam. Some
doors with this type of bottom track are
easily forced open even when locked.
Treco bottom tracks
are an integral part of the shed frame being
inside the shed minimizes collection of
rubbish in the track and its deep design
makes it more difficult to lift the doors
out of the track.
Check entry and exit ramps these should be
strong enough to take the heaviest of loads
Treco Entry/exit
ramps are designed to take the weight of a
domestic ride on mower and operator
Treco is one of the easiest to anchor
down
Avoid sheds that have anchor points on the
outside these are impossible to anchor in
corners of yards. Some sheds require anchor
kits, which intrude into the floor space of
the shed and are an extra cost.
Treco sheds have
unobtrusive anchor holes predrilled into the
bottom rail inside the shed ready to anchor
your shed anywhere in your yard.
